What you will be doing:
We hope you will love the fact, no two days will be the same. One day may consist of looking into possible credit card fraud and the next may take you a manufacturing plant to investigate an issue between employees. You may take on various types of investigations ranging in scale, location, and complexity.
Investigations is a global function, so relationship building, and networking is essential to your success. Don't worry, we'll help facilitate your relationships with teams like HR and Finance who may be involved in confidential investigations.
 
Additional areas of involvement may be:
  • New hire background checks
  • Supporting company events
  • Assisting with audit activities
  • Supporting Corporate Security with investigations

Qualifications:
Current Senior graduating in Spring 2018
 
Ideal Majors:
  • Business with an interest in investigations
  • Criminal justice interested in a corporate job
  • Finance with a dream to find an nontraditional office role
This internship will start ASAP and go through next semester, with the goal of transitioning to a full-time role upon spring graduation. The goal is for you to work 15-20 per week, on-site (Grand Rapids). The hours are flexible and we will work around your class schedule. If you chose, you may increase your hours during the summer and breaks.
